The Demons defeated Kangaroo Flat by three wickets at Bell Oval.
Chasing the Roos’ 9-149 made last Sunday, White Hills answered with 7-150, winning with 15 balls to spare.
The game was evenly poised when the Roos had the Demons 5-89. However, a 51-run partnership between man-of-the-match Corey Dickins and Daniel Atkinson (20) swung the momentum the Demons’ way.
But with the game slipping away, the Roos hit back with Jake Klemm dismissing Dickins and Conor O’Shannessy (0) in the space of three balls to leave the Demons 7-140 in the 46th over.
The Roos couldn’t get Dickins out, though, and he hit the winning runs with a pull shot for four off Klemm to finish unbeaten on 47, following on from his 42 not out in the semi-final the previous week.
Earlier, Brayden Stepien made an attacking 37 opening the innings before he was the third wicket to fall with the score on 51.
Klemm had an oustanding all-round game for the Roos. After making 66 not out last week, he took 4-18 off nine overs, plus inflicted a run out, on Saturday.
