Fresh from his first-class debut in the Sheffield Shield match against NSW at the SCG last week, the former Strathfieldsaye paceman will lead a team of 12 that includes former Sandhurst spinner Todd Murphy and Maryborough product Cam McClure.
Crone had match figures of 4-103 in his first Sheffield Shield game for the Vics.
The Carlton speedster dismissed talented NSW youngster Jack Edwards cheaply twice for the match.
Murphy was Victoria's best bowler in the Marsh Cup one-day match loss to NSW at the SCG on Thursday.
He bowled much better than his figures of 1-60 off 10 overs indicated.
The 21-year-old claimed 4-29 for St Kilda in his first Premier Cricket match last Saturday.
