Police are appealing for assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole a number of items from a local supermarket last month.

In a social media post, Bendigo Police said the thefts occurred on October, 2.
"On two separate occasions on Saturday 2nd October, a man has entered both the Woolworths Kangaroo Flat and Aldi Epsom supermarkets, leaving with a large quantity of meat and meat products without making any attempts to pay."
Bendigo Police are now asking the public if anyone is able in identifying the man, who is described as being around 50 years of age, 6 feet tall, with short brown hair and receding hairline.
