Ms Batterhams owner Rhianwen Seiter said seeing life return back into the venue was an amazing feeling.
"We finally had the first regional gin gala for Bendigo and we were lucky to have distillers from Mildura to Mount Macedon on display," she said.
"This event was an amazing outcome.
"We have attempted to run this event two previous times, so this is our third try at it.
"We have been shut down and locked down before but I am just so happy and excited to see this room full of people in a COVIDSafe way and working with local distillers who are just such lovely people and showcasing all of our local produce."
The event allowed patrons to sample, explore the history, production and styles of gin from around regional Victoria.
With eight distilleries on display from the region, Ms Seiter said it was a great opportunity for locals to taste a range of gins and talk with distillers about their products and processes.
"It's hugely important to showcase this beautiful regional produce and it shows that we don't need to go far to find high-quality produce and quality gin," she said.
The event showcased some of the best produce from the region. The list included; Animus Distillery, Big Tree Distillery, Echuca Distillery, Fossey's Distillery, Heathcote Gin, Kilderkin Distillery, Morris Lane Distillery, Mountain Distilling and Terra Australis Distillery.
Guests were also treated to a goodie bad, snacks and tasting glass.
This was one of the first sold out events for the business since emerging from 18 months of on-again and off-again lockdowns.
"It's been a great check in process, everyone is double vaccinated and everyone has been very positive and helpful with it all, it's been a seamless process," she said.
"You could just hear the buzz in the room, it's just an amazing atmosphere."
