Acting chief executive Glenn Howlett said the health service was already supporting around 50 people in the community with COVID-19 through its Hospital in the Home program.
"We expect an increasing case-load in the coming weeks and this specialist team is well- equipped to manage an increase in cases," he said.
"We've been expanding our Hospital in the Home team of doctors and nurses to support the assessment and monitoring of COVID patients at home, and we are well placed," he said.
Dr Howlett said the high vaccination rates across Campaspe Shire put the region in a strong position.
"This level of vaccination is reducing the pressure we would otherwise have expected on our Emergency Department," he said
"I would urge everyone who is eligible for vaccination to get vaccinated."
