LIGHTNING Reef Primary School has been notified of another COVID-19 positive case in its school community.
Acting principal Joanne Ryan confirmed the news in a letter to parents and families on Friday afternoon.

"The school will continue to be open for all other staff and students next week."

Another 1,343 people have been added to the list of those diagnosed with COVID-19 in Victoria.
Sadly, there were 10 more deaths.
More news:
There were 14,255 vaccinations administered in Victoria on Thursday, taking the total of COVID-19 vaccinations administered in state-run clinics to 4,666,621.
About 82 per cent of Victorians over the age of 16 are fully vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, over 66,000 test results have been received by Victorians.
The numbers come as central Victorians celebrated passing the 90 percent double dose COVID-19 vaccination rate.
Bendigo Health Chairman Bob Cameron praised Central Victorians for protecting each other.
"It's a tremendous community effort," he said.
Mr Cameron said efforts to bring forward second doses to be given as soon as they could be had helped push the percentages up so quickly.
"It's a great relief to get to 90 percent, but we have to keep going to achieve the highest coverage possible," he said.
"Once you hit 90 per cent, you tend to see those numbers slow, but we're still hoping to get that percentage as high as we can."
Big Hill Primary School has recorded two new positive COVID-19 cases in its community.
Principal Matt Pearce informed parents and families of the news on Thursday.
"We were advised of two additional COVID-19 cases, however, both cases were in isolation during their infectious period and are linked to the three cases advised on Tuesday - one linked to MIDDLE W and the other to SENIOR LR," he said.
"The new cases do not have to be contact-traced, as they have not been on site during their infectious periods, therefore are no risk to anyone on site.
"As always, local infections, particularly in our community, is a reminder to us all that COVID-19 is a reality and our children and staff are best protected with masks, good hygiene, vaccination (age 12 and above) and social distancing etc.
"Moving forward, please get tested if you or your child develop even the mildest of symptoms (or have been to an exposure site / identified as a PCC) and isolate until you have a negative result - just to be safe."
