"At Goornong I found two from near where they are building the trains station and I had one up near the Bethlehem aged home in Ironbark.
"They are coming out from hibernation into the warm weather."
Mr Bright has been a snake catcher for almost eight years.
He turned to the profession after being fascinated with reptiles as a child.
"When I was young I was petrified of snakes but I went to a pet shop in Bendigo and held a young python and overcome my fear of snakes," he said.
"After that I had two of them as pets. The chap I was buying food off showed me the venomous side of them and I became snake catcher."
Mr Bright said if people spot a snake in the yard or home they should leave it alone but keep an eye on it.
"Keep a good eye on it and ring a snake catcher as soon as possible," he said. "Make sure you stay out of its way."
