La Trobe University Bendigo has confirmed the close contact who visited the campus on Tuesday has now tested negative to COVID-19.
A spokesperson confirmed the campus whole campus now open for all who are required to attend.
Staff and students are still urged to stay vigilant and get tested if symptoms arise.

LA TROBE University Bendigo has confirmed a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case has visited the campus this week.
A spokesperson said while the Department of Health is yet to confirm the building as an exposure site, the university would take every precaution possible to keep staff and students safe.
"We have been made aware that a building at La Trobe's Bendigo campus is a possible COVID-19 exposure site," they said.
"A student attended the building on Tuesday who is a close contact of someone who has subsequently tested positive to COVID.
"Consistent with Department of Health advice, while the individual awaits a test result, and as a precautionary measure, that building has been closed and deep cleaned.
"Students and staff directly affected have been advised to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms and are being supported by the university."
The spokesperson said the rest of the campus remains open and staff and students would be kept informed of any developments.
