MEMBER for Bendigo East Jacinta Allan has been given the Police and Emergency Services portfolio through changes in Labour's Shadow Ministry announced today. Ms Allan will manage her new portfolio alongside her role as Manager of Opposition Business, and opposition spokeswoman for regional and rural development and bushfire response.The changes have also seen Luke Donnellan appointed as Labor's shadow minister for roads, road safety and the TAC and Jenny Mikakos appointed the responsibility for the children and young adults portfolio while retaining her current portfolios of seniors & ageing and youth justice. Danielle Green was appointed the portfolios of child safety and women, and retained her roles as shadow minister for disability services and health promotion.For more, see tomorrow's Bendigo Advertiser.
