Kyneton Police say they intercepted a 25-year-old Woodend man on Saturday, September 4 near the BP Service Station in Woodend at 2.24am.
After a preliminary breath test, police said he accompanied them back to the Kyneton Police Station for further testing where he returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.155.
As a result, his licence was immediately suspended and he will have a date with the Magistrate.
His vehicle was impounded for a month at a cost of $1425.
