The entry was drawn on Saturday August 28, with the winner taking home a $1,247,527.15 prize.
This morning, an official from The Lott spoke to the man, who'd only recently discovered he was now a millionaire.
"It's absolutely unbelievable! You dream of this but never think it will happen to you," he said.
"I can't believe it! I am a millionaire. What the hell... I honestly had no idea until I checked the ticket today! It was a big shock, and my mind was running a mile a minute."
The man said the winnings were life-changing and said he would use the money to pay off his mortgage.
"I haven't won much in the past and never thought I'd win division one, so this really is fantastic news," he said.

"I would love to pay off the car as well! It will be lots of bills first, and then I will have some fun... I am not sure what I'll do with the rest of it, but I am sure my wife is going to have plenty of ideas."
The winning marked 12-game entry was purchased at Romsey Supa IGA Newsagency & Lotto.
Managers Craig Hendricksen and Belinda Cattlin said they were happily surprised to have sold a division one winning entry.
"It's incredible to have played a part in making someone's dream come true," Mr Hendricksen said.
"We've decorated the outlet and have been telling all of our customers that we've sold a division one winning entry.
"There have been a few division one wins here over the past decade, and we can't wait to sell another."
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4185 on 28 August 2021 were 17, 30, 22, 23, 19 and 21, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 32.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4185 - two each from Queensland and New South Wales and one from Victoria.
