Daniel Lagodzki said he was riding home from work on Thursday afternoon around 3pm when a motorbike rider pushed him from behind.
"I don't really know how it happened, it all happened really fast," Mr Lagodzki said.
"I was riding along on Harrison Street in the bike lane from work when someone basically shoved me.
"I looked back and saw that it was a motorbike and it kept going. It crept up from behind and didn't yell at me or anything because I wasn't doing anything wrong.
"Even if I was doing the wrong thing, that's no excuse for this behaviour."
Mr Lagodzki wasn't pushed off his bike from the incident and was able to grab a photo.
The avid cyclist said this wasn't the first time he'd heard of a cyclist being targeted by other road users in Bendigo and he decided to go public with his incident to warn other cyclists.
"I didn't fall off but scared me quite a bit," he said. "I was probably going close to 30km so If I had of come off or hit a car it could've been a lot worse.
"Nothing like this has happened to me before, I still get occasional person who doesn't give right distance.
"I'm an avid cyclist and I tend to go off-road because of drivers not doing the right thing."
