Two architecture firms have been appointed to design the Kangaroo Flat and Camp Hill Primary school upgrades.

E Plus Architecture has offices across Australia and New Zealand, including in Bendigo, and has been selected to design works to be undertaken at Kangaroo Flat Primary School while the North Melbourne-based Architecture Matters Pty Ltd will design the works at Camp Hill.
State Member for Bendigo West Maree Edwards was delighted to announce the architecture firm appointments on Thursday.

"Every student should have a great school, no matter where they live," she said. "That's why we're investing in hundreds of small but important projects that will make a big difference for schools and create jobs for Victorians.
"We're making sure that our schools have the best facilities, our classrooms have the best teachers and that every child is given every chance to succeed.
"Both school communities are a step closer to getting the great local school facilities their kids need to thrive with the appointment of these architects."
The Labor Government has provided $455,665 to go towards Kangaroo Flat Primary School's refurbishment of the toilet block to improve amenity, cleanliness and hygiene.
The state government has also put in $172,165 to go towards the building of a sensory garden with distinct learning areas.
The two schools have been allocated funding to fast-track priority projects under the recent Victorian Budget $20 million Minor Capital Works Fund to improve learning environments as well as the condition and character of schools.
