In a post to social media, one of Australia's operating tram systems said it would remain out-of-action.

"We're glad to hear that Victoria is starting to emerge from lockdown," the post read.
"Unfortunately, Bendigo Tramways will remain closed until restrictions are further eased.
"The density limits which are currently in place make it unviable for us to reopen at the moment.
"But we're hopeful that we'll be able to open soon."
As of 11.59pm on Tuesday, Victoria's coronavirus restrictions on tour transport has a density limit of 10 people per vehicle with COVID Check-In Marshalls mandatory.
Bendigo Tramways chief executive James Reade said the tourism operator were hoping to be back in a few weeks time.
"We're waiting until time is right," he said. "We have to wait until visitors can come back and have a great experience and our staff can stay safe.
"When that day comes, we look forward to welcoming people back."
Mr Reade said Bendigo Tramways had been opened on-and-off throughout the coronavirus pandemic inline with the state government's restrictions.
"We recently had a record-breaking July school holidays," he said. "We know people are keen to come back and explore Bendigo so hopefully in a couple of weeks we can open.
"Our team has been really resilience over last 18 months and where we can still trying to provide opportunities for people to come in for work.
"Everyone has been really understanding ."
