A severe weather warning has been issued for the west of the state.
While it doesn't include Bendigo and central Victoria, BOM believes wet weather could hit all parts of Victoria except Gippsland.

Mildura, Swan Hill and Horsham have been included in the severe weather warning.
Damaging northwesterly winds averaging between 40km/h and 60km/h are expected in affected areas with peak gusts of up to 90km/h developing on Friday afternoon and continuing into Saturday.
In June, storms hit central Victoria causing severe damage in the Macedon Ranges region.
Among the damaged sites was Angela Henley's bed-and-breakfast tram accommodation which had just finish its restoration.
