While the temperature didn't get to double digits, it felt a lot colder with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting Saturday's maximum only felt like four degrees.
Duty forecaster Miriam Bradbury said the lower temperatures were due to a strong cold front.

"The front moved through Bendigo late in the day on Friday and brought us a very cold day on Saturday," she said.
"The cold air behind the front moved through on Saturday and led to a very cold night.
"We will certainly continue to see cold temperatures through the week and we're predicting we'll be putting out frost warnings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
"The maximum temperature through the week is around 11 or 12 degrees but we should have some patches of sun."
Sunday, again, had a strong morning fog and was expected to reach a maximum of 11 degrees with a 50 per cent chance of rain.
Looking ahead, Saturday, July 10 was forecasted to be the warmest day of the week with an expected temperature of 15 degrees.
