BRIDGEWATER will go into its top-of-the-table Loddon Valley league clash against fellow undefeated team Mitiamo on Saturday with at least three players unavailable due to suspension.
Liam Jacques, Darren Clutton and Alex Powell have all been suspended following last Saturday's one-point win over Pyramid Hill.
And a fourth player, Boden Alexander, is to front the tribunal tonight to face a striking report by the match review panel against the Bulldogs' Jake Willcocks.
Midfielder Jacques was handed a four-match suspension at the tribunal after he was found guilty of striking the Bulldogs' Brad Driscoll and won't be eligible to play again until July 24 against Marong.
Seven-time premiership player Clutton and Powell both accepted set penalties following reports laid by the match review panel.
Clutton took the one-match set penalty after he was reported for "making unreasonable or unnecessary contact to the face" of gun midfielder Matt Ladson, who will miss this week.
And Powell - one of the Mean Machine's standout players this year - took a one-match set penalty for "carelessly striking" Willcocks.
In other LVFNL suspensions this week, Bears Lagoon-Serpentine's Josh Walsh was found guilty of striking Maiden Gully YCW's Sean Moyle and outed for one game.
And Calivil United assistant coach Brady Childs took a one-match set penalty after being reported for "making unreasonable or unnecessary contact to the face" of Newbridge's James Gadd.
Bridgewater and Mitiamo are the only undefeated teams remaining in the Loddon Valley league as the competition reaches its halfway point this weekend.
The two ladder-leaders will meet at Bridgewater in what will be Mitiamo's long-awaited return to the field.
It will have been 35 days between games for the Superoos, who last played on May 22 when they beat Pyramid Hill by 38 points before three weeks of the competition being on pause followed by the bye last week.
The Superoos have the top two players in the latest Addy LVFNL player rankings with star midfield recruit Lee Dale leading the way from consistent defender Max Simpson.
Meanwhile, Wedderburn will be without its key forward, Will Holt, for its next three games in the North Central league.
Holt received a three-match suspension at the tribunal on Tuesday night following a striking report.
Holt is the Redbacks' leading goalkicker with 20 after rejoining the club from Sandhurst.
