POLICE are investigating an aggravated burglary in Sedgwick, which saw a woman taken to hospital.

The 82-year-old woman was attacked at her Springs Road property at around 11am on Sunday, officers have been told.
The two men allegedly broke into the woman's home, assaulted her and stole five puppies.
Police say the two offenders were men driving a grey, older model silver Mercedes sedan, which had no number plates.
The woman suffered significant pain to her hip and was taken to Bendigo Hospital for treatment, The Bendigo Advertiser understands.
Police inquiries are ongoing.
