Ms Chesters called on the federal government to ramp up its supply so the community could get vaccinated.
"What frustrates me is that Bendigo Health can't vaccinate more people, they need more vaccines," she said.
On Tuesday, Bendigo Health announced AstraZeneca walk-in appointments would return to Bendigo's Mollison Street Mass Vaccination Centre for over 60-year-olds.
The centre is averaging about 800 coronavirus vaccination appointments each day and has the capacity to jab up to 1000 people.
Ms Chesters said it was great to hear AstraZeneca walk-ins were allowed once again but said it didn't fix the supply issue.
"It comes back to the supply, the fact that you don't know day-to-day if they can have walkins because they don't have the supply is a problem, the federal government needs to pick their game and we should have more people vaccinated by now," she said.
"It's very frustrating for the Bendigo community because people want to get vaccinated. It's really a call out to the federal government to ramp up supply."
Ms Chesters joined the thousands of Victorians to receive the first dose of the vaccine on Tuesday.
Other news:
"I have had it, I want everyone else in Bendigo to get it and we need the federal government to come on board and make sure we have enough vaccines for the bookings that are made," she said.
"If you're eligible to get the vaccination, go online and book if it's possible.
"I think the worry is for all of us because we need to get vaccinated to avoid lockdowns, it's important for our health but also for our economic security and our jobs."
