Police are still investigating what caused a car to crash into a tree in Wilsons Hill on Friday evening.
Bendigo police Sergeant Rosie Rowe said the driver of the vehicle received non-life threatening injuries to his legs.
"He was trapped for a short amount of time but with the assistance of SES crews he was freed and conveyed to hospital," she said.
The crash occurred on Yorkshire Road about about 6.30pm.

Police are responding to an accident in Wilsons Hill, near Marong.
The emergency services app suggested there was a vehicle accident just after 6.30pm on Friday.
The incident occured on Yorkshire Road, Wilsons Hill.
Six emergency services vehicles were responding to the accident.
A 'Rescue Road Trap' incident was issued for the incident at 6.43pm.
There is the possibility of a person trapped in one of the vehicles as a result of the accident.
