Bendigo will host the first show on a national tour of mates Kasey Chambers and Busby Marou.
The two acts will each play their own sets before uniting to showcase their musical connection and friendship.
The Bendigo show is on at Ulumbarra on September 9. It is one of four Victorian shows included in the 22 date tour.
Chambers said she has been friends with Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou - who make up the duo - for years.
"I've been mates with the Busby Marou boys for a long time through music, stories and fishing and we are proud to announce that we are sharing this special tour together," she said. "It's time to take this beach campfire jam to the stage."
For Busby Marou, the tour will show off the connection the band has had with the Chambers family for a number of years.
"To be able to share the big stage with Kasey for a full national tour, is the best news we've had in a long time," the band said in a statement.
"Kasey is in a league with the most talented and hardest working artists in this country. We can't wait to bring our full band on this tour and to share the stage with Kasey for some exciting collaborations."
The tour will also recognise 20 years since Chambers released her album Barricades and Brickwalls. Songs from the album are sure to feature in Chambers' Bendigo performance.
The album went seven-time platinum and reached number on the ARIA chart. Single Not Pretty Enough reached number one on the singles chart at the same time as the album peaked - a first for any Australian artist.
It's hard to think of two artists who have integrated themselves into the hearts and minds of the Australian music loving public more than Kasey Chambers and Busby Marou. The tour will be a special series of shows that bring together great friends who just happen to write incredible songs and love to share a story.
The Kasey Chambers and Busby Marou Tour is on at Ulumbarra on Thursday, September 9. Tickets are on sale now.
