MoVida held two sell-out dinners at the Mackenzie Quarters on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Mackenzie Quarters owner Rhianwen Seiter said it had been a long-term plan for the business to work with Melbourne restaurants.

"It was perfect," Ms Seiter said. "We had a fantastic crowd on both nights. They were engaged and interested, and just thrilled to be there and to attend a dinner with such a high calibre chef."
Ms Seiter said her brother and business partner Ellis Nuttall worked at MoVida for about 12 years.
She said MoVida owner Frank Camorra came up for the Mackenzie Quarters opening in February 2020 and indicated he wanted to collaborate.
Ms Seiter said after a difficult first 18 months in business, it was exciting to host events like these dinners.
"The hospitality industry has been really supported and embraced by the community," she said.
"No one is really travelling or going very far at the moment so it's the perfect opportunity to create events that meet the demand that people are looking for.
"People still want to go out and socialise and we just need to think about how we do that. That's what this event was about and we have a few more planned in the next few months."
Ms Seiter said these collaborations would be important as Greater Bendigo grows as a City of Gastronomy.
"It's nice that we can have our staff working with these fabulous industry professionals," she said. "They can learn from each other and share ideas.
"And with COVID-19 and looking more locally, it's important to show off local produce and what we're using."
