Now the Demons have another string to add to their potent forward six, with classy half-forward Kris Bedford returning to the club.
The 2018 club best and fairest winner has decided to pull the boots on again and will mark his return in the reserves against Elmore on Saturday.
"It's pretty exciting for the club to have Kris back,'' White Hills' coach Sam Kerridge said.
"He's been an integral part of this club for a few years and he was always on our radar this year.
"We always wanted him to have one more year and we stayed in touch with him.
"We're very keen to have him back involved."
Bedford kicked 59 goals in 31 games for the Demons between 2017-2019.
The 34-year-old decided to retire after last year's season was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"He's a very fit individual and he's been doing a fair bit of fitness work,'' Kerridge said.
"Nothing compares to footy fitness, so hopefully it won't take him too long to start contributing for us.
"In his time at White Hills he predominantly played that high half-forward role, so he'll add another layer to our forward line."
The Demons play Elmore on Saturday for the second time this season.
The clubs met in the stand-alone season-opener at White Hills and the home side won by 112 points.
Elmore has won its past two matches and is expected to be far more competitive on its home deck.
