Police will investigate whether speed was a factor in the crash.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 2pm on Eaglehawk Road in Long Gully.
After being closed for close to an hour, the Bendigo-bound lanes on Eaglehawk Road are now open to traffic.
"Near the intersection of McGowan Street a blue Ford laser has left road and collided with a curb, then travelled 31 metres down the road," Sergeant Mick McCrann said.
"It's then struck a tree and rolled over. Two occupants were initially trapped inside. A 46-year-old male from Kennington - the driver - has been conveyed to the Bendigo Hospital, as well as his passenger - another male.

"At this stage they're not listed as critical (injuries)."
Sergeant McCrann said police had started looking into what caused the crash, including viewing some security footage.
"At this stage I am somewhat relieved to see that the injuries are not more serious," he said.
"I can't see any mechanical issues with the car initially so our investigation would look towards, maintaining control of the vehicle, drugs and alcohol."

TWO patients have been taken to hospital after a car crash in Long Gully.
It is currently unclear what their condition is but they are understood to not be critical.
A tow truck has removed the hatchback from the road and police are preparing to reopen Bendigo-bound lanes of traffic into the city.

A CAR is on its roof at the scene of a crash in Eaglehawk Road, Long Gully.
Traffic is blocked inbound to Bendigo following the crash.
One person has been removed from a vehicle and is in the care of paramedics.
Firefighters and police are also on scene.
The incident is taking place between Sheridan Street and McGowan Street, Long Gully.
