The Bendigo Braves men and women scored comfortable home court wins over the Melbourne Tigers in their NBL1 South games on Saturday night.

The women set the tone for the night with an impressive 83-68 victory before the men backed-up with a commanding 100-62 victory.
The Braves women overcame a poor third term to seal their fourth win of the season.
The Braves led by 16 points at half-time, but the Tigers dominated the third quarter to cut the margin to five points.
Led by experienced guard Tess Madgen, the Braves steadied in the final quarter and restricted the Tigers to just 11 points in the last 10 minutes.
Madgen, who played all 40 minutes of the game, scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals.
Abbey Wehrung was a constant threat offensively, scoring 18 points on 7-17 shooting.
Kate Oliver chipped in with 16 points and 11 boards and rising star Piper Dunlop had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Braves men had little trouble in recording their third-straight victory.
Coach David Hogan took the opportunity to give all 12 players court time in the lopsided encounter.
The Braves had six players score in double figures led by Ray Turner with 23 in just 24 minutes of court time.
Javaan Mumtaz and Jake Lloyd scored 12 points each, Matthew Andronicos chipped in with 11 points, while Brennan Rymer and Nelson Larkins added 10 points each.
Jacob Foy and Kai Daniels had an impact off the bench.
Foy nailed three three-point bombs in his nine-point haul, while Daniels impressed at the defensive end with three steals go with his two points.
As a team, the Braves dominated the boards 52-37 and had 25 assists to the Tigers' 12.
Their ball movement and execution at the offensive end was slick. The Braves shot the ball at 52 per cent for the night compared to Melbourne's 32.5 per cent.
Next Saturday night the Braves host the Eltham Wildcats in men's and women's action.
The women's clash is the match of the round, with the Wildcats unbeaten on top of the ladder, while the Braves are in fourth place.
The Wildcats are led by newly-signed Bendigo Spirit forward Anneli Maley.
The Braves will start warm favourite in the men's match.
The Braves are in third place on the NBL1 South men's table with a 4-1 record, while the Wildcats are 14th with just one win from five games.
