Braves (WLWW) head into the match against the Tigers (LWWW) on the back of a strong double victory weekend in round three with wins over Ballarat and Dandenong.
"The Tigers are currently the highest scoring team in the competition, in comparison to us as the best defensive team in terms of allowing teams points," Braves women's coach Mark Alabakov said.
"We will be adapting a very defensive-minded approach to the match to ensure we keep their scoring to a minimum.
"Overall, it's going to be a great match up."
Two Tigers which the Braves will keep a close eye on are the shooting power of Monique Conti and pure athleticism of Zitina Aokuso.
"Monique Conti is one of the most talented shooters in the game," Alabakov said, citing previous experience working with the cross-code athlete.
"We will certainly be setting her as a task in the amount of longer and taller Braves players we assign to defend her.
"We have three great players in Abbey Wehrung, Cass McLean and Tess Madgen who are all able to do it.
"It will take a team effort to do it across all four quarters but I couldn't be more confident that we will do it well."
In terms of doing things well, Alabakov couldn't have been more impressed with the performance of co-captain Tess Madgen during last weekend's double-header.
Madgen showed the league her incredible scoring ability with an astounding 43 points, nine rebounds and nine assists during Sunday's match against Dandenong.
"Tess is a phenomenal player and the value she brings to our team is incredible," Alabakov said.
Meanwhile, the Braves men (WLWW) will also take on the Tigers (LWLL) on Saturday at the Bendigo stadium, women tip-off at 6pm while the men begin at 8pm.
