Catholic Bishop Shane MacKinlay joined students on Thursday morning to bless the new facilities.
Principal Frank Dullard said the new senior facilities were named the Josephite Learning Centre to acknowledge 60 years of service to the school by the Sisters of St Joseph order.
"The spirit and inspiration of the Josephite sisters and community is a fundamental element of who and what St Liborius stands for today and will continue to be," he said.
"The naming of the new building as the Josephite Learning Centre will be another way we ensure the legacy of the Josephite Sisters continues to underpin who we are."
Thursday's ceremony marked the end of stage three of the works, which have renovated buildings dating back to the early 1900s.
The rooms have been altered to give the school adaptable learning spaces.
