Dad Darren O'Keefe said the triplets - Luca, Mackai and Nickayas - and their sister Zianna had been asking when they could play soccer for much of 2020.
Saturday was the day they had been waiting and training for, representing Strathdale Soccer Club for the first time in the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League under-9s.
The O'Keefe children constitute half of their team, with special dispensation granted for Zianna to play alongside her brothers.
She turns 10 later in the year. The triplets are eight years old.
"They're all together - it's wonderful," Mr O'Keefe said.
He will also return to the pitch, having been offered the opportunity to coach the side when the club learnt he used to play and coach soccer.

Mr O'Keefe started playing the game when he was six. He has experience coaching juniors.
"It's good to see kids out and about playing sport," Mr O'Keefe said.
The team had been training for the past four weeks.
