A portfolio of seven leased shops covering more than 2250 square metres on two titles less than two hundred metres from the site of Bendigo's new GovHub building, has been put up for sale.

Located on arguably Bendigo's best CBD corner position, the shops span from 49-55 Williamson Street around to 267-275 Lyttleton Terrace and offer up to 70 metres of street frontage.
TSFN commercial and leasing agent Tom Harrop said the seven shops were located in a prominent position on land zoned Commercial 1 that offered great potential for future development.
"It's rare to get a property with multiple tenancies and of this size," Mr Harrop said.
"The Bendigo property market has a great story to tell, despite COVID-19.
"Last year we had a very strong year - probably as good as any in the past decade."
Mr Harrop said there was enormous resilience and confidence in the Bendigo market, from both a residential and commercial point of view.
"And if it's busy here, it's busy throughout the broader region, and that's a good thing for our town."
He expected a lot of interest in the seven inner CBD shops would come from Melbourne investors, but that there could also be some local inquiry.
The seven shops were purchased by the current Melbourne based owner in early 2007, and return more than $356,000 in annual rent, before land tax .
Tenants include national brands Endota Day Spa and The Complete Garden, as well as the Khong Dynasty restaurant which has traded from the site since 1977.
Others include Jacs Salon, Ivy and Bloom Flowers, APM and Amplifon.
The shops are listed for sale by expressions of interest with Tweed Sutherland First National, in conjunction with Melbourne firm Stonehenge, with offers closing on Wednesday May 12.
The shops look across the busy Williamson Street and Lyttleton Terrace roundabout to the landmark Webb and Co building which was sold last week by local real estate agent Bill Williams.

In other commercial property news, DCK managing director Matt Bowles this week confirmed the sale of commercial premises at 39 Breen Street to a local business owner.
That site offers 12 onsite carparks on almost 1000 square metres of land and is zoned Commercial 2.
The two-storey building has been recently refurbished and is leased until September 2023, plus options.
Mr Bowles said there was strong interest in commercial spaces across Bendigo.
"Everyone is looking for solid returns," he added.
