READ MORE - BDCA, EVCA weekend finals teams
SPRING Gully, Emu Creek, Mandurang and United enter the weekend with Emu Valley Cricket Association premiership aspirations.
But come Sunday night - weather permitting - only one will be left standing holding the cup.
As part of this season's all one-day format, the EVCA has condensed its finals on the one weekend.
On Saturday semi-finals will be played, with minor premier Spring Gully hosting fierce rival United and Emu Creek taking on Mandurang.
The two winners will then meet in the grand final on Sunday at a venue that will be confirmed Saturday night.
However, rain is threatening to put a dampener on Sunday's grand final day, with the chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Under EVCA rules for this weekend, if no grand finals get a start across any of the four divisions then there is a spare day next Saturday.
However, the spare day will be removed if any game gets a start.
And the Duckworth-Lewis system will decide a game that has started, but is interrupted by rain, with a match requiring a minimum of 20 overs per team.
SPRING GULLY v UNITED
At Spring Gully, 1pm.
Season meetings - Round 1: United 2-140 def Spring Gully 139. Round 10: Spring Gully 8-200 def United 163.
What the captains say:
James Fox (Spring Gully) - "I'm confident that at least a couple of our batsmen will be able to get a score. We're a good batting group, which is one of our strengths.
"We love playing United. A lot of us have mates through footy or whatever, so there's always plenty of on-field banter between the two groups that adds to the spice of it."
Harry Whittle (United) - "There's obviously a fair rivalry between the two clubs that goes back a long way.
"After Christmas we've gone backwards a bit compared to the way we started, but on our day we can play some really good cricket and, hopefully, it's our day on Saturday."
Tip - United.
THE TEAMS:
Spring Gully - James Fox (c), Rhys Webb, Jesse Marciano, Justin Webb, Shaun O'Shea, Beauden Rinaldi, Nick Skeen, Alex Sutton, Brannon Stanford, Lachlan Brook, Byron Perrin, Isaac Willits.

At J.G. Edwards Oval, 1pm.
Season meetings - Round 6: Emu Creek 4-90 dr Mandurang 0-0. Round 15: Mandurang 137 def Emu Creek 125.
What the captains say:
Simon Marwood (Emu Creek) - "We know Mandurang is a very dangerous side with the bat... if a few of them get going they can certainly put on a few.
"We're excited for the opportunity. I think it's probably going to come down to the bowling of both sides... tight bowling and good fielding."
Matt Giri (Mandurang) - "We know we've got a side that's capable of getting it done, particularly with a couple of mid-season inclusions in Zane Keighran and Justin Slater.
"In the close games we've won, especially against Emu Creek, it was because of our bowling and fielding. If we can get our batsmen to fire then we definitely know we can do the job."
Tip - Emu Creek.

Emu Creek - Simon Marwood (c), Torin Petrie, Tyrone Downie, Brent Downie, Luke Bennett, Todd Brown, Daniel Chamberlain, Alexander Collins, Anthony Collins, Justin Hancock, Tom McGregor.
