The timetable was introduced on January 31, with an extra service to Melbourne added. There are now 21 scheduled Bendigo line services each day.
An existing morning peak service was converted to an express train, while Malmsbury and Macedon travellers have access to more services thanks to changes in stopping patterns.

The V/Line performance data for February showed 94.5 per cent of Bendigo trains were delivered on time - an increase from the 90.2 per cent in January and 91.5 per cent in December.
"It is encouraging to see the Bendigo line experience a strong punctuality result in the first month following the implementation of the new timetable," a V/Line spokesperson said.
"We'll continue to work hard to deliver punctual and reliable services on the Bendigo line as we welcome more passengers back to the network over the coming months."
The Bendigo line's reliability dropped slightly to 95.5 per cent in February compared to 96.6 per cent two preceding months.
It was still almost ten per cent higher than the same time last year.
There were 46 services cancelled on the line last month, with seven of those cancellations stemming from an emergency services request at Riddles Creek on February 16.
V/Line was still reminding passengers that they must wear fitted face masks for their entire train journey and practise good hand hygiene.
Passengers were also encouraged to stay home if unwell, travel outside the peak times, and keep their distance where possible.
V/Line were continuing to deep clean trains each night, along with stops, stations, and high-touch surfaces.
Hand sanitiser facilities were also available across the public transport network.
