The Rebels won the game 10.8 (68) to 1.5 (11), with Bendigo's only goal coming off the boot of the in-form Octavia Di Donato.
After a busy recent schedule the Pioneers rested some of their more experienced players and gave some young talent an opportunity at the next level.
The stronger and more athletic Rebels proved too strong across the ground for the developing Pioneers.
Di Donato was the Pioneers' best player and earned high praise from coach Danny O'Bree.
"She played on-ball and forward in a new role for her and she was exceptional.'' O'Bree said.
"She hasn't played a bad game yet. She's worked hard for 12 months to get an opportunity like this and the hard work is paying off."
Freyja Pearce still has two years left in this age group, but she showed plenty in the ruck against the Rebels.
Emma Gilligan, Drew Ryan, Eliza Bell and Tia Davidge were other players to perform well for Bendigo.
Key defender/forward Davidge was playing her first game for the season.
The Pioneers have this weekend off before playing flag favourite Dandenong at Epsom on March 20.
