Applefest chairman George Milford said the event was well received with many visitors from metropolitan areas making the trip to Harcourt for the day.

"A lot said they were from Melbourne. It seemed 60 per cent of people were from a metropolitan area and simply had to get out of Melbourne for the long weekend."
Mr Milford said the event was modified due to COVID but it didn't hinder stallholders.
"It was in James Park for first time in years and every stall holder sold out," he said. "Apple pies were sold by about 12.30pm."
This year Dean and Alison Curtis were named King Jonathan and Lady William while Kaye Francis was Granny Smith.
