On Friday morning, VicHealth promoted its latest round of Reimagining Health grants at Bendigo Foodshare, who had received a $50,000 grant.
VicHealth chief executive Sandro Demaio said the grants, either $3000, $10,000 or $50,000, are hoped to lead to young people improving their mental and physical health after a challenging 2020.

"These grants are focused on supporting locally led, locally owned solutions just like Bendigo Foodshare," Mr Demaio said.
"The aim of the program is to ensure young people have access to affordable fresh food and to increase opportunities for them to be socially connected."
Bendigo Foodshare ambassador Sam Kane said the Long Gully organisation has been able to tackle food insecurity in central Victoria thanks to its grant.
"The grant has allowed us to work with schools to learn more about the issues young people face and connect them with food, food skills and knowledge," Mr Kane said.
Bendigo Foodshare manager Bridget Bentley said the funding has allowed the organisation to launch new community initiatives.
"We're really looking forward to continuing to break barriers and teach important skills to young people across central Victoria," Ms Bentley said.
Organisations can apply for a grant through the VicHealth website.
