Dragon Mile draws many athletes to street circuit

THE 25th running of the Bendigo Bank Dragon Mile drew athletes from near and far for the Easter Sunday race.Competitors not only vied for individual honours and personal best times, but many chased success for their schoool.The popular event, run before the Bendigo Advertiser gala parade, included the mini mile for grades four and under, and the mile race for grades 5-6, years 7-8, years 9-10, and open and veteran classes.School teams to clinch honours were Lockwood, primary girls;
