The Hickman Motorsport driver was in action for round four of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series at the challenging Timmis Speedway.
Hickman, wasted no time in showing his talent and started the night off taking out the quick time overall at 12.816 seconds at an average speed of 123.60 km/h.
In the first heat Hickman lined up at the front and was able to hold position to finish in front of Steven Caruso and Brenten Farrer.
In the second heat Hickman lined up down the back of the pack in 10th and was able to finish at the front ahead of Farrer and Phillip Lock.
With a quick time and two heats already to his name Hickman was primed for the feature race that would see him start in P1 followed closely by Caruso (P2) and Brett Smith (P3) with the race winner Chris Solomon starting (P6).
As the race started it wasn't long before Solomon slipped his way down to P2 behind Hickman.
Charles Hunter hit a wall which saw a quick end to his night and brought the red flag out.
It wasn't long before a racing-ending incident occurred for Ben Morris and Jesse Nicholas which brought out the yellow flag which then made it difficult for Hickman to get close to now race leader Solomon.
However, a strong second-place finish for Hickman puts him in top-form ahead of the upcoming Victorian 360 Title this weekend at the Simpson Speedway
Hickman Motorsport congratulated Solomon on his victory and Caurso on his third place finish.
"And thank you to all of the spectators on the hill who stuck around for the very late feature race," the team posted on social media.
Hickman leads the over all points standings on 470, followed by Caruso (459) and Solomon 457.
The next round of the All Star Series will be held on March 27 at Nyora Speedbowl.
