The night will feature a speech by international authority on interfaith dialogue, racism and human rights Jeremy Jones.
Council chair Frank Marriott said the dinner aimed to bring together people of various faiths in the region, working together for the wellbeing of the community.
Other news:
Monsignor Marriott said Bendigo had seen amazing changes in the past 10 or so years, which meant it now had communities from a wide range of faiths, including Buddhism, Sikhism, Islam and Judaism.
"We're trying to remind Bendigo in many ways of the rather amazing changes that have taken place," he said.
"Part of our mission as interfaith community council is to help those communities settle into Bendigo and to have their traditions respected.
"We've worked very hard to help some of those communities settle in in various ways."
Monsignor Marriott said anyone who was interested in helping to build a peaceful, culturally rich, Bendigo community was encouraged to attend the evening.
