A MAN who was caught driving under the influence of drugs on two separate occasions has lost his licence for one year.

Volkan Yuksel appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Wednesday where he admitted to the offending.
The court heard about 3.14am on October 26, 2019, police intercepted Yuksel while he was driving in the Seaford area.

A preliminary breath test showed there was no alcohol in his system, but an oral fluid test showed there was an illicit substance.
Tests later confirmed the drug was methamphetamine.
Yuksel made admissions to police, telling officers he had used the drug ice the previous morning.
The court heard then about 9.10pm on April 25 last year, Yuksel was driving south on the Calder Alternative Highway near Lockwood.
A preliminary oral fluid test showed there was an illicit substance in his system. A second test showed the drug was methamphetamine.
The court heard police then found Yuksel and two women in a drug-affected state in Melbourne on July 9 last year.
Officers searched Yuksel and found a black electric taser and a 60ml mouthwash container filled with the drug GHB.
Defence lawyer Domenic Care told the court Yuksel had already spent 41 days in pre-sentence detention.
He submitted a fine would be an appropriate sentence, given Yuksel had already spent more than a month in custody.
Magistrate Megan Aumair convicted and fined Yuksel $1200. His driver's licence was cancelled and disqualified for 12 months.
