BENDIGO police are appealing for information after a White Hills bakery was broken into on Tuesday night.

Senior Constable Jordan Norris said unknown offenders smashed the front window of the Richardson's Bakery on Napier Street sometime between 9pm and midnight.
The offenders entered the store and stole the cash register before leaving.

Senior Constable Norris said the damage to the store was estimated to cost about $1000.
He said anyone who witnessed the incident, had dashcam footage, or noticed people acting suspiciously in the area should contact the Bendigo CIU on 5448 1300.
