The Bendigo Advertiser has a new editor, with Rod Case’s appointment to the position yesterday.Mr Case will start his new role in early February. He has spent almost seven years as editor of the tri-weekly Wimmera Mail-Times at Horsham and before that was deputy editor of the Bendigo Advertiser from 1999 to 2004. Bendigo Advertiser general manager Margot Falconer was delighted to welcome Mr Case back to Bendigo.“We are so fortunate to have been able to lure Rod back to Bendigo to a newspaper he spent almost 15 years at,” she said.“He will bring a wealth of experience and stability to our newsroom of more than 30 journalists.”
