The site called Connect Greater Bendigo will serve as a directory, consolidating information found on a wide range of internet pages.
Given the COVID-19 lockdowns the need to reconnect with community has never been stronger," mayor Jennifer Alden said.

We all know that connected communities are strong communities and through Connect Greater Bendigo local groups, organisations and clubs can raise their profile in the community, promote their events and attract new members.
The new website will not only enhance the strong connections that already exist within our community but will also help build new ones.
Cr Alden said even though the site is managed by the council, it was a community website. The address is www.connectgreaterbendigo.com.au
