Bendigo and District Cycling Club member Pat Eddy has secured a podium finish at the AusCycling Road Nationals Championships.

Eddy, who is racing for Team BridgeLane, secured third overall in the Australian U23 Individual Time Trail over 28.6km on Wednesday.
He finished with a final time of 38:30.31, 1:39.7 behind winner Carter Turnbull, with the podium rounded out with Conor Leahy in second (2020 Bendigo International Madison winner alongside Josh Duffy).
Also in the field for the race was fellow Bendigo rider Connor Sens who finished seventh and Samuel Eddy who came in at 14th.
In Wednesday's Gran Fondo Individual Time Trial Bendigo's David Pell (40-44) finished seventh, Justin Deeley (45-49) and Geoff Bennett (60-64) DNF.
In the Junior Men Individual Time Trial Bendigo's Curtis Harrison finished 27th, while fellow member Luka Cordedda came 40th.
In the Junior Women Individual Time Trial Jasmine Eddy finished 10th and in the Under-23 Elite Women Time Trial Olivia Sens finished 21st.
On Thursday Mitchell Morley secured fourth in his first ever paracycling nationals event with a time of 52:53.9.
The action continues tomorrow at the RoadNats with several criterium events on the cards and Bendigo riders in the mix.

The action continues on the weekend with several big road race events to be held at Buninyong on Saturday.
On Sunday action will wrap up with Under-23/Elite Women and Men's Road Race.
The women commence at 8.50am and will cover 104.4km (nine laps) while the men will follow later in the day at 12:30pm over 185.6km (16 laps).
