The Braves defeated the Blazers 87-63 on Saturday night at the Bendigo Stadium to secure their spot on top of the ladder.
Sexton knocked in 21 points, with Sharna Appleby scoring 13 and Piper Dunlop 11.
The Braves women will now prepare to hit the road this weekend and head south on the Calder to play the Kyneton Tigers who are just behind in second place.

Meanwhile, the Braves men had the tables turned on them by the Blazers and were defeated by 24 points, final scores 44-68.
Lachlan O'Brien top-scored with 12 points, followed by Trent Leech with 11 and Frank Samuel Serona with 8.
The Braves men are now second on the ladder behind the Blazers ahead of their match this weekend against the Tigers.
Both the men and women compete in the Country Basketball League's North West conferences.
