Day returned home with a swag of medals, which included eight gold in individual events, plus relay gold.
Also starring at the meet for East was Cameron Jordan, who was awarded the Australia Day medallion for the best male based on the highest FINA points score for an individual swim.
Jordan won four gold in individual events, as well as two relay gold medals.
A contingent of 25 represented East.
