Music Festival couldn't proceed as normal during the coronavirus pandemic forcing organisers into a rethink. Set to be held at the Newstead Recreation Reserve on Sunday, the Newstead Live Picnic Concert features Enda Kenny and Greg Hunt, Cat and Clint, Mon Coeur, Skyscraper Stan with Ian Bland as MC. More news Newstead Live! Music Festival director Kelly Skinner said the COVID-safe picnic concert gives music lovers a chance to see live performances again. "We've had a fantastic response to our picnic concert having now sold out, which is so encouraging for the industry to see," she said. "Despite restricted numbers, we can't wait to wave across a COVID Safe crowded room and celebrate the fact there is still live music. "This is a promise that we will be back as bright and bold as ever in 2022."
