A contingent of 25 swimmers will represent East at the Country Championships from Saturday to Monday, including four who won medals at last weekend's Victorian Sprint Championships in Melbourne.
Layla Day (17/18 girls gold in 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke, silver in 50m butterfly); Henry Allan (12 boys silver in 50m backstroke); Cameron Jordan (19-over mens gold in 50m breaststroke); and Hunter Boswell (14 boys gold in 50m backstroke and silver in 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle) are all coming off sprint medals last weekend.
"We're looking forward to competing in Warragul this weekend. We've got 25 swimmers from 11-year-olds through to open," Jordan said.
"As a club we'd be hoping we can finish in the top five overall and have a number of medalists."
