"These grants help to bring colour and energy to our shire, which is something we are welcoming with open arms in 2021," said Ms Knight.
The Community Grants focus on new and emerging local community development initiatives that fit council's strategic objectives. Small grants up to $3000 and partnership grants up to $10,000 are available.
Council's Get Lost Activation Grants are aimed at the shire's cultural and creative sector with funding up to $3000 and $5000 available for artists and their community projects.
"We would particularly love to see project ideas and initiatives that respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and address any new needs that have emerged as a result," said Ms Knight.
"Our Get Lost Activation Grants target our cultural and creative industries, who have been among the hardest hit by the impacts of COVID-19 restrictions.
The Shire's Events Grants offer support for established and new not-for-profit events.
"With so many events cancelled in 2020, we can't wait to see what our community has in store for the year ahead," Ms Knight said.
Applications for the Community Grants and Get Lost Activation Grants are open from January 25 to February 15. Events Grants applications are open from February 15 to March 8.
