BIG BIKE FILM NIGHT
The Big Bike Film Night is a movie event that showcases the best cycling short films from around the world right in Bendigo.
There will be films about adventurers relying on human power, a story that reminds you of the importance of finding your 'why, a movie that shows inspiration can come in all shapes and sizes, three adventurers bike-rafting across one of New Zealand's most remote National Parks and much, much more.

REFUGEE RALLY
Hosted by the Rural Australians for Refugees group, this event will raise awareness for those in immigration detention centres.
COVID-19 regulations are in place, masks must be worn and registration of attendance is a must.

BENDIGO PARKRUN
Get back into the swing of things after the COVID-19 break and enjoy a 5km timed run, jog or walk this weekend.
The parkrun is not a race against others, but a fun event out or great for part of a training plan.

FLOOD ANNIVERSARY
Join in for a free community barbecue in Bridgewater to reflect on the 2011 Bridgewater floods.
This event is also to celebrate the community.

CREATING A DRY GARDEN
Learn how to keep your garden beautiful throughout the dry, summer months with this workshop hosted by Simon Rickard.
This event will include information about the right plants for Australian gardens and how to love the climate we are in.

FAIRS AND FESTIVALS
SUMMERTIME FLING
Cellar doors across the Macedon Ranges will open to help host events as part of a series called the Summertime Fling Festival.
This festival will feature three weeks of wine, food and fun.
The Macedon Ranges Vignerons Association is running the event to encourage wine and food lovers to take a well-earned break from 2020 and share in the fun, scenic spaces while following COVID protocol.
This is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends, family and the community in an easily accessible, central location - that also happens to be stunningly picturesque.

IMMERSION 20/20
Immersion 20/20 is an art exhibition of original paintings by local artist, Kerry L Brown.
These works will feature mid-century inspired interiors and abstract landspaces with reflection of the year that was 2020.

CLOSE TO HOME
Last year was a year like no other and this exhibition, with works by Janet Neilson and Penny Peckham, showcases all that was 2020.
Peckham and Neilson's shared artistic interests brought them together during the COVID-19 pandemic and ended up in them creating linoprints, monoprints, paper works, stamping and much more.
Inspiration has been drawn from the daily activities that were taking place during the pandemic, books that were read, gardening and more.

TABLE MATTERS
Ceramists Sharon Alpren, Cassie Hansen and Emma Jimson have come together to showcase their exhibition Table Matters.
This exhibition celebrates the art of dining and features a floral installation from Libertine Florists.

PIINPI: CONTEMPORARY INDIGENOUS FASHION
Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion is an exhibition showcasing garments and textiles by First Nations artists from all across Australia.
This exhibition celebrates Indigenous art, history and culture through fashion.
This exhibition will feature art fashion by Grace Lillian-Lee, Babbarra Women's Centre, Marree Clarke, Hopevale Arts and Cultural centre and many more.

ART COLLECTION
In addition to the regular exhibitions that the Central Goldfields Art Gallery has, there will also be pop-up exhibitions throughout the new year.
