ANYONE who has returned to Victoria from greater Brisbane on or after Saturday is required to get a COVID-19 test and quarantine, even if they have not symptoms.
The Victorian government has announced the rule for anyone who has arrived from Brisbane City, Moreton Bay, Redland, Ipswich and Logan.
Returnees must take a COVID-19 test immediately and quarantine at home or in their accommodation until Monday January 11.

It comes after the Queensland government ordered a three day lockdown of Greater Brisbane, after a new, more infectious strain of COVID-19 was diagnosed in a hotel cleaner.
Any Victorians in Greater Brisbane have been advised to follow the guidance of the Queensland government.
The Victorian government said anyone with travel plans to Greater Brisbane should cancel them.

VICTORIA reported one new COVID-19 case on Saturday, which was confined to hotel quarantine.
No new locally acquired cases were reported.
It comes as Queensland enters a three day lockdown, after a cleaner in hotel quarantine was diagnosed with a new, more infectious strain of the virus.
The strain which first emerged in the United Kingdom is about 70 per cent more transmissible.
Victorians in Queensland have been advised not to leave, and to follow the guidance of the state's government.
Those with plans to travel to areas in the Brisbane City Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Redland, Ipswich or Local city councils have been urged to cancel them.
Health authorities have urged anyone who arrived from these local government areas from January 2 to remain at home, or in their place of accommodation until Monday.
The Victorian government received a total of 28,337 test results to Saturday.
