Police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with an aggravated burglary involving a firearm in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a man allegedly wielding a firearm entered a Whipstick Road, Eaglehawk home and assaulted him.
The 29-year-old, a California Gully resident, is assisting police with their enquiries.

A man has been taken to hospital after an intruder entered an Eaglehawk home with a firearm in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Investigators were told the offender entered the Whipstick Road home about 2am.
An assault ensued, before the offender fled the house.
The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the men are believed to know one another.
Detectives were at the scene on Thursday morning and talked to people in the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
